Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel is a privately-owned 17th Century half-timbered farmhouse with adjacent buildings.
An exceptional setting for any event, the Park Farm Barn complex has been beautifully transformed to provide a unique venue.
The collection of meeting rooms can accommodate seminars or training events for up to 100 delegates, small business meetings or private dining facilities in converted pig-sties for up to 150 guests.
There’s 20 acres of land, so lots of space for outdoor activities. The family own the local 170 acre deer park, which dates from medieval times and also contains one of the country’s largest collections of Ancient Oak Trees. Supervised visits can be arranged to fit in with your event.
The 19 en-suite guest bedrooms have high speed internet access throughout. The dining room is open to residents and their guests for homemade farmhouse suppers, so venison and other game feature regularly on the menu.
There is a log fire in the winter, real ales and a cosy lounge which has a superb view of Breedon Hill. Eight of the bedrooms are in the main hotel, the rest in tastefully converted annexes.
The hotel has a strong green ethos, with solar panels, reed beds and a biomass boiler providing heat and hot water from our own trees.
